Went to Borneo last holiday. Amazing how my family and I managed to stay put for about 7 hours in the car on the way to Sarawak (Malaysia) from Pontianak (Indonesia). Brunei was kinda empty though; I almost tried to cross the street eyes closed just because I was so sure that there would be no car hitting me (don't even try).

The highlight of the trip would pretty much be the tree with pink flowers that was really gorgeous with the tiny petals crumbling one by one to the ground, the vibrant night market with mouth-watering food, our trip through this large river, seeing nothing but rain-forests on our sides, and the feel of being like a host for some TLC show.
