(1,2) Prepared Ground by Daniel Lefcourt. 2011. The exhibition was held from February 25 - March 26 at Taxter and Spegemann in New York. "Paintings are created using digital photographs that are translated into three-dimensions, outputted using computer controlled router to carve the relief molds. Acrylic paint is then poured into the mold, and finally peeled up and adhered to the linen support. The resulting process are at once simulated and substantial, shallow and fertile"---Art Daily
(3,4) Glove Jacket by Maison Martin Margiela. 2006. It took approximately 103 hours to stich and re-stich the gloves, constructing them as a jacket whilst still retaining their personality as a glove. Price : about $ 15,000.
(5) A screenshot from Never Let Me Go. 2010. I havent read the book yet, but personally, I pretty much like this film. The color, the story, the actors, the clothes (!). You can never have enough great knitwear to wear with black tights, the right jacket, and the perfect collared shirt.
