FINALLY

After an exhausting month of making small yet not so wonderful mechanical products in order to complete my studio assignment (plus a row of examinations afterwards), finally I can fill my head with itinerary planning for my vacation next week. I'll be heading for an escape to Lombok, an island located exactly at the east of Bali; and hopefully with good company, the right book and music playlist, I might as well enjoy a peaceful getaway.
(I would love to wear these Illesteva glasses next week)

I have spent a good amount of time in the near end of my college week, on watching films such as La Belle Personne (2008) which I loved for the clothes, but not too much for the story. Louis Garrel was an absolute eye candy though, and to watch him smoke while wearing a crisp white shirt and charcoal gray coat, it was just way beyond perfection. And I loved the short yet memorable scene with Madame Tournon in it, she is one gorgeous lady.

I plan on spending more time watching foreign films, I think I need to expand my perspective toward good films, and do forgive me for paying a lot more attention on the wardrobe; I just really admire well-dressed characters, and what I mean by well-dressed here is those dressed to be who they are. I often have a hard time on wanting to watch a movie, and I don't think there is any much of a logical reason behind it. I always feel like I must know that I will like the movie before I watch it, so even if I end up hating it, at least I know that I had better expectations on it. Confused? Me too.

Too bad I left my Truman Capote collection book back at my college room, so I guess I'll start off the holiday readings with Nick Hornby's High Fidelity, while also juggling to finish IDEO: The art of innovation (I had to read it as an industrial design and innovation reference somehow).

Happy mid-year break to all of you!
